This is really cool modify car. If I didn't see hand, I think it is real car. I likes the way he modify this car by install light. I wonder why diecast company haven't do like this. It makes car look more cool.

What do people think and say about my hobby?

 

Well as usual, no one understands why I buy model cars. My parents say I have too much cars ( I have about 400 cars total ) and tells me when I'm gonna stop!!! I tell them I love you both, I use my own money, and it makes me feel happy, and I don't know when I'm gonna stop.

My girlfriend thinks I should just buy one model a year....!! That made me laugh. Hey, she buys bags like LV, coach, Fendi, Burberry, PRADA's, chanel, almost every month. So I tell her why can't I buy my own bags such as AUTOart, Kyosho, Minichamps, Hotwheels, BBR, UT, etc...
 

A lot of my friend are impressed by the sheer size of my collection but some annoying friends have the response that I could buy a 1:1 with the money spent on models. But I suppose, if I ever had to sell everything to acquire my dream car then...yes I suppose I'll consider it but for now, 'm quite happy having most of my dream cars in my room. I find the models bring me more joy than a 1:1 at this moment.

So I suppose diecast is just something that non-car lovers would ever understand. 

I love cars. I love how they are designed and how they work, the history and the stories behind them!

 

How much do you love this hobby..?

Different people have different hobbies. I used to collect stamp when I was young. Now my hobby is in to collecting diecast. Just how much do I love this hobby?

Well, I love it so much that I worked as waiter and newspaper boy to earn money for buying them. In Thailand, every night after work I go to my room and just admire what I have. Stare at my collection and enjoy the variety of makes, and models, the different shapes, and colors, and they are all very special in their own way. I don't know, but my collection makes me feel happy and enjoy. I feel the sense of relaxation each and everytime I look at them. I love this hobby so much.  My mom asked me once that do I still collecting diecast until I grow old? My answer is yes. It's hard to stop. That's how much I love this hobby...!!

What was your first diecast?

I wonder what got people started in this hobby and what was their first diecast. I think everyone has their first diecast before they collecting it. For me, it was only the start of 9 years ago where I purchased my first model - the Ferrari 456GT by Bburago. I bought this car when I came to US. for study English. My friend bough me to Toy R'us, and he told me to buy this car because it was cheap. So I bought it. After I back home, I was looked at it and enjoyed it very much. That's my first feeling to diecast. Since that time, it's my inspiration for me to begin collecting diecast and definately kick started my addiction.  Thanks to my friend to let me know how happy to look and enjoy what we like to collect.

8 years for finding one diecast car

I collected many die-cast models over the years and yet there is still one or two models out there that I have always wanted to add to my collection, but it seems so hard because they are rare or produced in limited numbers. I'm sure there is a model you wanted to buy too.

The models I've always wanted is Nissan Skyline R-34 Nur. This car had product only 1000 cars. So it's rare and hard to find item. Since I begin collecting diecast, I looking for it for 8 years. However, at least I got it with $600 price.

Even the price is high, but if you compare with how long you looking for and how happy when you get it, it's worth to pay. Every time I looks at it, I feels very happy to have it.
